MERIDIAN NURSE CONSULTING
Legal Nurse Consultant Helps Local Law Firms
For Immediate Release
Everett,
WA (November 7, 2007) – Local registered nurse, and nurse-midwife,
Susan L. Wilson, CNM-ARNP, PLNC, has opened a legal nurse consulting
practice focused on assisting attorneys. Ms. Wilson works with attorneys by reviewing cases for
merit and assisting throughout the case, even testifying, if desired.
Litigation costs for medical malpractice and other expert-heavy cases can get out of control quickly. By using legal nurse consulting services, like Ms. Wilson offers, law firms can make determinations regarding representing clients and expert needs without driving up costs. By doing the initial review of the medical records in a case, Ms. Wilson can help attorneys identify areas of negligence and potential issues of proof in malpractice and other cases.
Ms. Wilson is a registered nurse, with a Bachelor’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University. In addition, she earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Yale University in 1990. She has been a nurse-midwife for over 18 years. Ms. Wilson has also received her certification as a Professional Legal Nurse Consultant from the National Center for Legal Nurse Consulting, based in Memphis, Tennessee. Additional areas of training and experience include education, ethics and genetics.
“Legal
nurse consultants offer their valuable expertise to law firms and
attorneys.” Ms. Wilson says. “We can save attorneys and clients both
time and money.”
